Live animal education in your classroom!
Want exciting, live animals in your school to provide a unique, engaging experience for your students? We can help with that! We offer presentations for both a classroom setting and full assembly. Classroom Program
This program is for smaller groups with 40 and under students. We bring 6-7 animals of various kinds (reptiles, inverts, mammals, bird) for an up-close, interactive session of animal learning right there in your classroom!
This option is highly customizable, we can easily modify it to different age groups—including especially young audiences like Pre-K children. The subject matter and animals can also be directed at specific topics you’re covering in your class, including but not limited to: defense mechanisms, food webs, different biomes, endangered species, etc.
Program length: 30-40 minutes with time after for interaction
Assembly Program
This program is best suited for groups of 50-200 students. Again we bring a variety of 6-7 animals but this time we use some of our biggest, most exciting animals! 40 pound tortoise, 8 foot snake, giant millipedes, scorpions, massive bullfrogs, perhaps something a little fluffy- we give a variety of critters and textures for your students to learn about.
This option is a little harder to customize (but can still be done) as we tend to bring the bigger animals specifically to give large groups of students easier visibility. We have our own mic/speaker but can gladly use a hands-free mic already hooked up to a sound system if provided. Auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeteria, any large room will work for us!
Program length: 30-40 minutes with time after for interaction
Afterschool Programs
We can provide hands on animal education after school hours have ended too! We can do either singular after school programs or multi-week sessions for continuing education. We can come back for 3-6 classes where each visit we focus on a different group of animals (ie: snake day, mammal day, etc.) This allows your students to see more of our animals than any other show we do!
Program length: Varies but usually an hour at the most
